I had an excellent experience from the beginning of my diagnosis until after my two surgeries, exceeding my expectations!, I am very punctual and did not have to wait more than 5 minutes to be called by a very friendly staff, I am very grateful with Dr. David Shin and his friendly staff for all the care you took of me, answered all my questions, this is the only time in my life that I have so much appreciation for a doctor who has been a great blessing in my life because even though my health insurance coverage was terminated for the loss of my husband's job just after the second surgery, the doctor had a good heart and did not stop giving me continuous free monitoring until I finish my recovery, THANK YOU SO MUCH .. If anyone has ever developed phlebitis, they will tell you how scarry this condition might be. It happened to me while I was recovering from a major and unrelated surgery. My surgeon took great care to make sure this did not happen, and I thought I followed all the post op rules. I still developed phlebitis. I was very fortunate to become a patient of Dr. Shin during this time. He not only managed my new acute problem, but carefully coordinated my care with my surgeon and PCP. His attention to my new condition assured that I received the best care possible and that I obtained the best outcomes for everything. That coordination was a key element to the success of my surgery and to resolving my acute problem. Dr Shin always made it a point to make sure that I understood that I should never hesitate to call him if I thought that things were getting worse or not progressing. This was also important to me as I am 1,500 miles from home and family. I will always be grateful to Dr. Shin and his staff for his care and considerations.
