I am writing to thank Dr. Shin for the care and results I received on August 31, 2010 when I underwent the VNUS ClosureFast ablation of the saphenous vein in my left leg. This procedure is painless and the recuperation was swift and painless too, in fact I went about most of my regular activities within 2 days. The original varicose vein appeared in my left leg at the tender age of 14. In my youth it was a little unsightly and over time I grew to accept the pressure, swelling, and the heat generated from that vein and subsequent veins. Earlier in 2010, I developed a venous stasis ulcer and finally after that wound slowly healed I found Dr. Shin. It's been over 30 years since my first varicose vein appeared and now I am so pleased with the freedom I have from the pain and heaviness and wearing compression socks every day.
